Aphcarios Engineering Solutions is an innovative engineering and product development company specializing in electromechanical systems, off-road solutions, and custom-built products. The company focuses on real-world product development, from concept to manufacturing, with strong involvement in R&D and fabrication.

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Product Designer with strong experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.

This role is focused on developing real, manufacturable products. The candidate will be involved in designing, prototyping, testing, and preparing products for production, working closely with the workshop and fabrication team.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Fusion 360, sheet metal design, and practical knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using Fusion 360.
• Work on sheet metal designs, structural systems, and load distribution.
• Develop designs that are practical, durable, and ready for manufacturing.
• Prepare and optimize files for manufacturing including:
  • CNC machining.
  • Laser cutting.
  • Bending.
  • 3D printing.
• Operate and support prototyping using CNC machines and 3D printers.
• Design mechanical systems such as brackets, mounts, enclosures, and moving mechanisms.
• Integrate mechanical components with motors, actuators, valves, sensors, and electrical systems.
• Work directly with the workshop team to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Define and follow basic Quality Control (QC) standards to ensure consistency and reliability of manufactured parts.
• Review fabricated parts and prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications and required tolerances.
• Plan and distribute tasks to technicians when needed, ensuring smooth workflow and timely execution.
• Support prototyping, testing, and continuous product improvement.
• Prepare and manage BOMs, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external fabricators when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Fusion 360 (mandatory)
• Solid experience in sheet metal design and structural/mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of load distribution and real-world mechanical behavior.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • CNC machines (cutting, milling, or laser).
  • 3D printing technologies.
• Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and fabrication techniques.
• Experience working with motors, valves, and basic electrical components.
• Ability to design for manufacturability, strength, and cost efficiency.
• Basic understanding of quality control processes and inspection methods.
• Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with technicians.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical engineering mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
